7 layers of softly sanded, quality Baltic birch plywood, finished with teak oil. This lamp meshes elegant, rounded beauty with the utilitarian nature of the layers of plywood. It has a low/medium/high, mirror polished stainless steel touch button that's encircled by a dim LED ring jusssst bright enough to find in the dark. The pictures don't do it justice. The bulb itself lives beneath a cylindrical glass cover, complimenting the round contours of the body. For the glass cover, choose between clear and inside-sandblast. The inside-sandblast option provides a softer, diffused light, while remaining soft and glossy to the touch. This is good for if you plan on keeping the lamp close to your line of sight.

My thoughts on "Right to Repair": In the unlikely instance that something might be wrong with the lamp, the simplicity and easy access makes this something that is actually fixable with a little bit of effort. I believe that we should be able to fix stuff instead of toss it. It's always an option with every Heavybig product... Or I can fix it for you - either way, chipping way at waste.
